Olympic Weightlifting is a sport built around two dynamic barbell movements:

  • The Snatch: lifting the barbell from the ground to overhead in one powerful motion

  • The Clean & Jerk: lifting the bar to the shoulders (clean), then overhead (jerk)

These lifts require a unique combination of strength, flexibility, coordination and speed. Making Olympic Weightlifting one of the most complete expressions of athletic ability.
